French right wing Marine Le Pen is now officially more popular than her rival candidate François Fillon according to a new french national poll.

A new poll from a french polling company called iplop has now officially certified that Marine Le Pen has overtaken her rival for the first time ever, could this be a significant sign that populism and nationalism is now on the rise in France as well.

This new poll has Marine Le Pen’s support at 26.5 percent amongst national voters in contrast to her moderate right wing rival who sits at 24 percent.Fillon’s declining popularity has now signified that French voters may see what is going on around the world with Trump and Brexit resulting in french voters feeling a surge of nationalism themselves.

The significance of a potential Le Pen Presidency is that she has sworn to give voters a referendum of France’s membership of the EU,Her election would be a massive defeat to the globalists as with 2 major counties set to exit the EU it could result in the downfall of the EU all together.
